         1.1 This project is for for site clearance along the existing trails, new trail, excavations, breaking of protruding rocks and the construction of walking traills in Killarainey woods. The project shall consist (in summary of):  60mm of 20mm binder course tarmacadam and 25mm of 6mm surface course tarmacadam, laid on 250mm of compacted S.R. 21 Annex E, T.1, complying with I.S. EN 13242:2002+A1:2016, , on a weight stabilising membrane with seal where new surface meets existing surfaces with hot pored bitumen; to extend exsting access road - Approx 10m x 23m  Disabled carparking space to comply with Part M of the building regulations 7.2m x 4.8m, complete with paint markings and signage at disabled designated parking space.  Class 1 track - 1.8m wide and 399m long with tarmac finish, shown in light blue on the drawings, and will consist of geotextile laid on the existing track, aggregate layer and tarmac layer  5No. 5m diameter wide tarmac circles set on track with furniture and signage as shown on the drawings, on the Class 1 track  Class 3 track 2, approx. 600mm wide and 279 meters long with gravel finish, shown in green on the drawings  Class 3 track 3, approx. 600mm wide and 86 meters long with gravel finish, shown in yellow on the drawings  Class 3 track 4, approx. 600mm wide and 218 meters long with gravel finish, shown in orange on the drawings  Class 3 track 5, approx. 600mm wide and 178 meters long with gravel finish, shown in pink on the drawings – note this a new trail to be created through the exsting woodland  Class 3 track 6, approx. 600mm wide and 155 meters long with gravel finish, shown in purple on the drawings  Class 3 track 7, approx. 600mm wide and 352 meters long with gravel finish, shown in dark blue on the drawings  7No. Benches, 1500 long x 570mm deep with a seat height of 510mm, back height 870mm  24 No. signage bollards  2 No. information boards with an A1 size image of the the trail and relevant information on the trail.  Include for ground preparations including removing tree stumps and fallen logs  Ground suface on all trails shall be left intact on all trails in order to not to undermine tree growing alongside the track and tree roots.  Any necessary clearing of encroaching scrub or overhanging braches shall be carried out using only a saw. Branches may not be broken by machine. Trees not to be removed unless dangerous  Steps on trails are required at a number of locations. They shall be constricted of sleepers to form the risers pined into position with compacted hardcore to infill to the thread of each step. Anti-slip GRP sheets 4mm thick to be fixed to sleeper upper surface. Include for forming 30No. steps though the class 3 trails. Exact locations will be agreed on site during the set out of the works.
