It was the intention of the Contracting Authority to conduct a new procurement process for the provision of these services but, due to changes within the Contracting Authority’s operational environment, the scope of any new tender cannot be determined at this time.

Due to resourcing, strategy and other complexities, it is not possible to define the new requirement for this service and therefore it is anticipated that a new tender process will not take place until early 2025 at the earliest. On that basis the continuation of the current contract is essential to the Contracting Authority’s operations. Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

The existing services contract had previously been modified (TED Reference: 2022/S 093-257302) in May 2022. This further contract modification will have the effect of extending the existing services contract as described at II.2.4 above for a period of up to 18 months from September 2023..
