The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Eswatini Water Supply and Sanitation Access Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Hydrogeological Equipment for the enhancement of Groundwater Development, Monitoring and Management in Eswatini.

The Eswatini Water Services Corporation (the implementing Agency) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Hydrogeological Equipment for the enhancement of Groundwater Development, Monitoring and Management in Eswatini.

This equipment is inclusive of:

These are to be delivered at the Department of Water Affairs, at the corner of Mdada and Gwamile Street, 2nd Floor Millers Mansion Building, Mbabane, Eswatini . The expected delivery and installation period is as detailed under Section VII, Schedule of Requirements (List of Goods and Delivery Schedule).

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Eswatini Water Services Corporation – Senior Manager Supply Chain – procurement@ewsc.co.sz and copy Nomile.Simelane@ewsc.co.sz and request the bidding document during office hours (08:00 to 16:45 hours) at the address given below.

The bidding document is in English Language and may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of E500.00 (Five Hundred Emalangeni only) or equivalent (in a convertible currency). The method of payment will be – by bank transfer to Account Name – Eswatini Water Services Corporation, Bank Name – Standard Bank, Account No – 9110000596666, Branch Code – 663164, SWIFT CODE – SBIC SZ MX. Proof of payment should be sent to procurement@ewsc.co.sz copy Nomile.Simelane@ewsc.co.sz after which the bidding document will be sent by email to the prospective bidder.

Non-compulsory pre-bid meeting will be held on 7th November 2025 at 10:00 am SAST. Interested bidders shall request connection details from procurement@ewsc.co.sz and copy Nomile.Simelane@ewsc.co.sz three days before the pre-bid meeting.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 noon SAST on 25th November 2025. Bidders can also be submitted via the email details below. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be electronically opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives who chooses to attend and details for the meeting link can be requested by the bidders from the email below three days before the closing date of the bid.
