         The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA) requests a tender for the conceptual design of a corridor for Borgarlinan (BRT), pedestrian pathways and stations/station at Hamraborg in Kópavogur. Included in the conceptual design shall be the corridor to and from Hamraborg along Hafnarfjarðarvegur within Kópavogur municipal.

         The Project involves the conceptual design for a corridor for Borgarlinan (BRT) on Hafnarfjarðarvegur in Kopavogur approximately 2 km. A conceptual design of a station/stations shall be part of the project for the Hamraborg hub where three different Borgarlinu routes will stop.

         The conceptual design should be completed by March 31. 2024

         Tender will be opened in two stages, on June 6.2023 and the results of the tendering process will be made official on June 27. 2023
