         Das SRH Zentralklinikum Suhl betreibt im Zentral-OP aktuell neun OP-Räume. Nebengelagert auf gleicher Ebene befinden sich ein Linksherzkatheter-Messplatz und ein Angiographiegerät. Linksherzkatheter und Angiographiegerät sind zeitnah auszutauschen. Im Zentral-OP werden aktuell auch die Augen-OPs realisiert,

         was allerdings durch lange Schleusenzeiten ineffektiv ist. Die Zahl der Augen-OPs ist

         aktuell so hoch, dass geplant ist, zwei separate Augen-OP-Säle zu errichten.

         Diese könnten nach aktueller Hochrechnung der SRH noch zu ca. 20% durch Gyn-OPs genutzt werden. Des Weiteren ist geplant einen zweiten Linksherzkatheter- Messplatz einzurichten. Um diese Ziele zu erreichen, ist geplant die zur Verfügung stehende Erweiterungsfläche "alter OP" für eine Nutzung als Kardiologie mit zwei

         Linksherzkathetermessplätzen und Angiographiegerät herzurichten. Nach Freizug der Fläche der Kardiologie würde der Bereich für die Erweiterung des OP als autarke Fläche umgebaut werden.
