         In den Schulen sind bereits Boards der Marke "galneoscreen" im Einsatz (19 Stk.). Die in den Klassen der einzelnen Schulen fehlenden digitalen Boards sollen möglichst mit baugleichen (oder gleichwertigen) Boards ausgerüstet werden, um den Support zu vereinheitlichen und den Lehrern die Nutzung der Boards zu vereinfachen, da bereits Schulungen stattgefunden haben. Vergleichbare Angebote müssen sich an den Vorgaben im Leistungsverzeichnis orientieren.

          Die Stadt Bad Honnef und die Schulen legen großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit. Die Ausschreibung umfasst daher ausschließlich refurbished Workstations, Notebooks und Tablets auf Windowsbasis. Dazu gehören auch eine 5-jährige Gewährleistung/Garantie und ein Vor-Ort-Support. Die Steuerungsrechner müssen auf der Rückseite der Boards per VESA-Halterung befestigt werden können.
