Der Freistaat Bayern errichtet im Zuge des Aufbaus der Universitätsmedizin Augsburg den Neubau eines ersten Lehrgebäudes auf dem neu zu etablierenden Medizincampus der Universität Augsburg in unmittelbarer Nähe zur bestehenden Universitätsklinik. Die diese Vorinformation betreffende Baumaßnahme enthält den Neubau des ersten Lehrgebäudes. Auf 6.440 m2 NF 1-6 entstehen Räume für Lehre und Unterricht, das Dekanat der Medizinischen Fakultät, das DeMEdA (Department of Medical Education und Institut für Didaktik und Ausbildungsforschung in der Medizin) sowie die Medizinische Fachbibliothek.
