VII.2.2)Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee (Art. 43(1)(c) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(c) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Durch das Abschließen des Bauloses 7.1 mit diversen Nacharbeiten und den Beginn der Vorbereitungsphase des Loses 7.2.1 der Baumaßnahme ergibt sich aufgrund einer Vielzahl von – teilweise parallel laufender – Prozesse ein deutlich erhöhter Koordinierungsaufwand, der mit Blick auf die bestehende Personalstärke des AG nicht mehr vollumfänglich geleistet werden kann. Hinzu kommt es durch die weiterhin anhaltende Pandemiesituation mehrfach zu Personalausfällen beim Auftraggeber. So sind Mitarbeiter des AG aufgrund der geltenden Quarantäneauflagen nicht Vorort tätig oder fallen sogar komplett aus. Die o.g. Lücken im Bereich der Schnittstellenkoordinierung und des Projektmanagements sollen mit den Leistungen der vorliegenden Vertragsänderung geschlossen werden.
