The European Banking Authority is looking for services to refurbish its premises, which are on four levels in a multi-tenant high-rise building in La Défense.

The European Banking Authority is looking for services to refurbish its premises, which are on four levels in a multi-tenant high-rise building in La Défense.

Three of these floors (levels 24 to 26) will undergo refurbishment works aimed at creating a collaborative, eco-friendly and inclusive office space, taking into account the benefits of flexible work.

The project aims to optimise space efficiency to encourage hybrid working, establish dynamic collaborative zones, and create a sustainable and friendly working environment.

These works will include the cleaning (and reuse) of a few partitions, the installation of new partitions, cabling and improving the acoustics, as well as the laying of carpets. Adaptation work will also need to be carried out (high voltage, low voltage, fire safety systems). It is important to note that these works will take place in an occupied space.

The European Banking Authority has appointed a project management team and an architect to assist in drafting the detailed specifications and is seeking a partner company to carry out the works. The selected contractor will be responsible for planning, organising and carrying out the refurbishment, including the installation of IT equipment and the associated network.

The project must be completed by the start of September 2024. The contractor will supervise all phases, from execution plans to final acceptance, respecting legal requirements and satisfying stakeholders. Additionally, it will collaborate with existing framework contract providers for the design and management of the project, ensuring the seamless integration of audiovisual equipment and systems.

At this stage, the EBA invites interested economic operators to respond to a short survey. Responses to the survey will help the EBA analyse the market and develop the call for tenders more precisely.
