Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to select one (1) Proponent to enter into a Contract with B.C. Pavilion Corporation (“PavCo”) for the security and related services at the Vancouver Convention Centre (“Services”). The Services includes, but is not limited to the following:

Expert and professional advice on all aspects of security for the Vancouver Convention Centre (“Venue”);

Provide operational leadership to support and strengthen security deployments.

Patrolling of the Venue to ensure Clients and all users are protected against fire, theft, vandalism, trespassers and accidents;

Crowd control, when requested; and

Security for events on an as, if and when requested basis.

Mandatory Site Visit:
Proponents are not required to attend all events; however, it is a Mandatory Criteria that they must attend one (1) of the events.

Site Visit # 2 11:00 a.m., May 7, 2026
Site Visit # 3 9:30 a.m., May 12, 2026

The purpose of the site visits is to provide a tour of the venue and to address any questions Proponents may have about this RFP’s scope of work and/or the procurement process. The discussions will not be recorded and/or transcribed, and the verbal information disclosed at the site visits does NOT form a part of this RFP.
