Description

Lac La Biche County (the “County”) invites the submission of Proposals from qualified Contractors (the “Contractor”) for the provision of a Seasonal Trapper (the “Project”).

It is the objective of Lac La Biche County to enter into a one-year Agreement, with the option for extension upon mutual agreement, with a successful Contractor for the provision of a Seasonal Trapper to mitigate impacts from beaver activity on municipal infrastructure such as flooding, culvert blockage, road integrity, and to help with inspection of County infrastructure. The successful proponent(s) shall become familiar with the Lac La Biche County’s policies, procedures, and organizational structure.

Purpose
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Public Works, implement Lac La Biche County’s Beaver Control Program. This includes dealing with damage caused by beaver activity and implementing a plan that reduces the impact of beaver activity.
