Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Provide repairs to the impacted areas on the 4th and 3rd floors following the water related damages from July 7th. Work to include 4th floor kitchen repairs, including new lower kitchen cabinets and kitchen sink/tap set, lower drywall repairs, commercial grade resilient sheet flooring (linoleum), re-attaching existing electrical outlet box, and 3rd floor office area repairs, including drywall bulkhead repairs. The damage was caused by a blocked sink drain in the kitchenette on the 4th floor and the auto flush valve activating which over filled the sink causing water to flood on to the floor and leak down to the 3rd floor office space. The sink drain was cleared of blockage and returned to normal use. The 4th floor kitchen floor and cabinets to match the 3rd floor kitchen. No carpet tiles to replaced, they are still in place and were cleaned No demo is required, as it was all completed while First on Site removed the water damaged areas Damaged ceiling tiles were already replaced by the BGIS Property Team The sink and tap set from the 4th floor were removed from site, so we will need to include it in the project. There were 2 desk sets (each set has 2 pieces) affected in the flood that are required to be replaced.

Event Note

Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 in the ITT document. A maximum of two representatives of each Bidder, or its authorized representative are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the 457 Richmond Street, London, Ontario. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email, and on behalf of their authorized representatives including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT (rajesh.gupta@bgis.com) by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 (November 13th, 2025 before 12:00pm, noon) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the site visit.
