Description

This contract is for a spring and summer plant in BC Timber Sales in the North Zone of the Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. The contract totals an estimated of 476,356 spring trees and 471,568 summer trees over 634 hectares. Site viewing is optional however it is highly recommended. Information contained in the planting prescriptions such as planting difficulty, specifications, and access are approximate and should be used as guides only.
Springs blocks are required to be completed as soon as they become snow free , with a minimum production of 11,000 trees/ planting day on blocks to meet the spring deadline of June 21, 2026. The summer portion of the contract requires a minimum production of 40,000 tree/planting day with deadline of July 23, 2026 or 19 days from start of summer plant.
