Description

Notice is hereby given by BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA), of its intent to extend the following contract.

• C22FSA00133 – Ion Design Inc.
• Ion Design Inc. (Ion) was the successful proponent from Request for Proposal (RFP) #: ON-0001948 - BCFSA Graphic Design Services. The original contract term was from October 18, 2021 to October 20, 2023 with one option to extend for a further one year and a contract value of $100,000 per year. The extension was exercised in September 2023 without increasing the contract value. As of September 2024, approximately $51,000 remained and the contract was further extended without additional funding.
  
  Since the start of the contract in 2021, Ion has gained significant, in-depth knowledge of BCFSA and has played a critical role in developing and managing the BCFSA brand to help ensure overall integrity by maintaining brand guidelines and a clear and consistent voice in all collateral produced.
  
  As BCFSA continues to work toward increased consumer and industry awareness, consistency in brand and voice is critical. Ion is best equipped to continue providing graphic design services for BCFSA due to their significant experience with BCFSA and the role they have played in defining, managing, and maintaining BCFSA’s brand.
  
  Given Ion’s proven track record, deep familiarity with BCFSA’s brand, and ability to deliver timely and effective services, BCFSA has determined that extending the contract is the most prudent and cost-effective approach to help ensure the continued maintenance of BCFSA’s brand and brand guidelines.
  
  Therefore, BCFSA intends to extend the contract for an additional term of one year with three further options to extend for 12 months each.
