Description

Project Description: KLH CT Scanner located at Kootenay Lake Hospital (KLH) in Nelson, BC, will include removing the existing CT Scanner, which has surpassed its service life, and installing a new CT scanner (Make/ Model TBC) to meet the critical annual imaging scans needs of the KB region’s Healthcare. The space will be renovated to meet current radiation safety and patient handling standards. Upgrades include Electrical and Mechanical systems, HVAC enhancements integrated with the Building Management System, and improvements to sinks, lighting, and ceiling tiles. All Design and Construction will follow evidence-based principles and comply with Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards.

The Services are expected to commence by October 2025 with construction estimated to complete by August 2026
