Description

Kinsmen Park in Edson is a popular family destination featuring playground equipment enjoyed by many children. However, the current playground lacks accessible features, which limits opportunities for children with disabilities to participate and play alongside their peers. Recognizing the importance of inclusive recreation, the Town of Edson is planning to install accessible playground equipment to ensure that all children, regardless of ability, can enjoy the park together in a safe and welcoming environment. The top priority for this project is the installation of an accessible swing, along with necessary site preparation and the construction of an accessible pathway to ensure barrier-free access to the equipment.
