Description

Lethbridge County, in partnership with the St. Mary River Irrigation District (SMRID) and the Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District (LNID), are jointly seeking proposals from qualified consultants to lead and execute a regional study that evaluates opportunities to improve water conservation through irrigation district infrastructure modernization. The purpose of this study is to support long-term economic sustainability in Southern Alberta by identifying and quantifying irrigation water savings and enhancing regional water resilience. This project is funded under the Alberta Community Partnership Intermunicipal Collaboration component. Proponents should be aware that the project budget is capped under the ACP program, and capital expenditures are ineligible. Proposals should reflect a staged, cost-effective approach.
