Description

The City of Medicine Hat is seeking equipment pricing and related services to support various landfill maintenance activities at the Medicine Hat Landfill. Equipment will be required on an as-needed basis to assist with regular operations and emergency response. The work may include, but is not limited to:

• Excavation cleanout of sump pits and storm ponds • Hauling of soil, compost, and other materials • Relocation of chipped and unchipped wood piles • Grading of compost pads and general site grading • Water hauling for dust suppression or fire response • Stormwater management and drainage support • Road construction and on-site road maintenance • Excavation of test holes for waste identification • Emergency material movement (e.g., in case of fire) Term of contract is 1 year with option to extend annually for 4 additional years
