GOC5764413:

• Shipping area is currently gravel only, which presents challenges for deliveries and maintenance of the area. Paving it would increase traction, reduce maintenance requirements, and improve the flow for shipping.
• Refer to Merx tender documents.
• Note that individual bid breakdowns are required.
• GOC5764417:
• The chosen approach would be to sandblast the existing catch basin tray beneath the diesel tank to remove any existing accumulated rust. A liquid-applied waterproofing membrane can then be installed over the entirety of the tray to protect it from future rust build-up. This approach also relocates the manual drain for the tray to allow the maintenance team to empty any accumulated water while still maintaining its functionality in the event of a diesel spill. This approach offers a simple solution to the rust build-up on the tray while avoiding any excavation and foundations that an overhead canopy would require after service locates, and client testimony confirmed that important conduits run underneath the concrete slab.

A maximum of 2 representatives of each Bidder, or its authorized representatives, is or are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS representative at the 75 McClelland rd, Cantley, Qc. For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the site visit.
