Description

The City of Courtenay invites tenders for C25-100, Lake Trail Multi-Use Path. The work will include the following:

Construction of a pedestrian pathway on Lake Trail Road from Arden Road to Lake Trail Community School, and painted bike lanes from Webb Road to Lake Trail Community School. Work will generally include:
• Tree cutting and clearing
• Removals and common excavation
• Installation of new culverts and headwalls
• Extension of existing culverts and installation of headwalls.
• Construction of approximately 620m of 2.0m wide gravel path ways along Lake Trail Road.
• Construction of road widening and paving.
• Landscaping
• Installation of new pavement markings and signage

An optional pre-tender site meeting is to be held on August 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. local time. The meeting location will be 1999 Lake Trail Road Courtenay, BC.
