Description

The proposed contract requires the provision of all phases of Timber Sale Development in the Dawson Creek TSA & TFL 48. This includes approximately 250,000 cubic metres of multi-phase block assessment and layout services for timber sale licence development.

The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Forest development activities will include but are not limited to total resource plans, block planning, block/road layout, timber cruising, site plans, assessments (blocks, roads, bridges, terrain, windthrow, stream, wildlife, visuals, etc.).

Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules.

All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.PeaceLiardTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 9:30 am on
April 30th, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by May 7th, 2025.

Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.

If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.

The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
