Description

Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) uses the Recycled Vehicle Program (RVP) to sell “dismantled” and/or “scrap” vehicles to various vendors. The current program term for the Recycled Vehicle Program expired on March 31st, 2025, thus ICBC is seeking multiple quotes from qualified Suppliers to become the sole purchaser of “dismantle” and “scrap” vehicles in their defined Locations from ICBC for the duration of the contract. The scrap metal will be sold to the overall highest quote from one qualified Supplier per location. Qualified Suppliers must meet all requirements listed out in the Mandatory Requirements.

Prospective vendors can access the solicitation documents and submit proposals through ICBC"s Bonfire portal.

All communication from and to ICBC including questions, solicitation document amendments, responses to questions and other information will also be published on ICBC"s Bonfire portal. It is the prospective vendors’ sole responsibility to ensure that they have access to all new and updated information.
