Description

The City completed Phase 1 of the Aerated Static Pile (ASP) Composting System at the Glenmore Landfill in 2024 and plans to construct Phase 2 in 2026/2027. Phase 2 will closely resemble Phase 1 which was supplied by Engineered Compost Systems. The city aims to engage a capable General Contractor to cultivate an early collaborative problem-solving culture in the project. The objective is to address key constructability challenges and minimize uncertainty in scope and long lead items during the design phase, prior to entering the Construction phase.
