Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Remove and replace the damaged section of the brick. Replacement brick to match existing and satisfy heritage requirements. Include expansion joints to accommodate further movement. Continued movement and cracking may jeopardize the securement of this brick panel to the wall, increasing the risk of it falling onto the public sidewalk. There is vertical cracking in the brick at the very northwest corner of the building. The cracks travel up from grade to approximately the second-floor slab level and were measured at less than 1mm wide. Hazardous Material Testing results found no hazardous materials; report is attached in Attachment 5 - Hazardous Material Reports.
