Description

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal (OFM) oversees the Northern Fire Protection Program (NFPP) which is a government-run program. The NFPP has 47 fire departments. These fire departments provide three (3) lines of defense: Fire Safety Education, Fire Safety Standards, and Enforcement and Emergency Response. A key piece of health and safety requirements is the firefighter’s hose which is often regarded as the firefighter’s lifeline. The fire hose must withstand exposure to heat, flame, abrasion, and chemicals without compromising the structural integrity of the hose to ensure firefighter safety.

This Request for Bids (RFB) from the Ministry of Solicitor, OFM, is seeking a qualified Vendor to supply and deliver fire hoses.
