Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by MacEwan University (the “University”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for offsite Laundry Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
MacEwan University is seeking a professional contractor with demonstrated experience in providing offsite commercial laundry services. The contractor will have exceptional customer service, use state-of-the-art commercial laundry machines and have the financial and human resources available to provide exceptional Laundry Services of the size and scope required by MacEwan University. The Laundry Services will be consistent and superior in quality, value and service and sensitive to the specific needs of each Site. The Laundry Services will be inclusive of all additional charges including transportation charges for pickup of soiled laundry and delivery of clean linen.

The contractor will provide Laundry Services for:
1) MacEwan University’s Residence and Guest Services (“Residence”) and
2) Faculty of Health & Community Studies Massage and Acupuncture Programs (“FHCS”)

Residence and FHCS are located in two separate buildings on the University’s City Centre Campus and so will have two pickup/drop-off locations/docks.

MacEwan University expects to select one (1) experienced and capable offsite commercial laundry services company to provide the Laundry Services described in this RFP and enter into an Agreement to commence April 1, 2024, for a term of three (3) years, with the option to extend for two (2) additional terms of up to two (2) years each, at the sole discretion of MacEwan University.
