Description

Dinosaur Provincial Park requires the services of a consultant / consultancy to develop a Master Plan for the development of new exhibits to showcase and interpret Dinosaur Park and the UNESCO World Heritage site. The interpretive offerings are an important aspect of Visitor Management and serve to occupy and direct visitor activities in appropriate places so that the overall history of the park is readily available, and the visitor is educated in a meaningful and suitable way.

The primary goal of this project is to develop a master plan that will guide the Park in modernizing its non-personal interpretation. It will focus on the latest technological and visual educational messaging, delivering Exhibit Interpretation services with complex scientific and historical messaging for various audiences. This is intended to vastly improve the visitors’ experience and the messages they take away with them when they return home.

The plan will identify key messages and delivery mechanisms for each area in the Park and will ultimately provide a transformational approach to implementing the Park’s exhibition interpretation indoors and out.
