Description

The County seeks a tandem winch truck complete with headache rack and chain racks capable of meeting our summer and winter operational requirements.
The unit is used in the Summer for: Equipped with a fifth wheel hitch on a skid mounted to the frame, this unit will be used for pulling a tri axle scissor neck lowboy for our heaviest machines and/or a tri-axle belly dump gravel trailer. The unit should be able to haul, and winch weights close to 70,000 lbs. It is to
have a hydraulically actuated winch that is used for dropping the scissor neck lowboy as well as for winching inoperable equipment onto the trailer.
Winter months: the unit will be fitted with a Front high-speed plow, and snow wing. A sander unit, mounted to a skid, will be installed on the chassis.
