Description

This Request for Proposal (hereafter referred to as the “Proposal” or the “RFP”) outlines the requirements of the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (hereafter referred to as the “District”, “Municipality” or “MODL”) with regard to development of the Sawpit Wharf Park Community Plan by qualified professional firms and individuals (hereafter referred to as the “Proponent”) for the completion of the scope of work described within this document. The design of the park is to be through an accessibility lens, therefore, having a member of the team that is Rick Hansen certified is mandatory.

MODL is seeking proposals to have a park design prepared for outdoor recreation opportunities for a variety of users, keeping in mind the current uses. An accessibility lens is to be used when designing the park.
