Description

Supply and fabricate a new cylinder barrel to replace the original damaged barrel to extend the service life of the hydraulic actuator.
The existing cylinder will be removed from Site by BC Hydro, disassembled at the successful Proponent’s shop by the successful Proponent, and inspected and re-assembled with the new fabricated barrel and existing piston, piston rod, and end caps. The successful Proponent will transport the fully assembled cylinder to Site for installation and field alignment, by BC Hydro, if necessary, before BC Hydro puts the unit back into service. Except for delivery of the unit to site, no site work is included in this contract.
The Delivery Point and Site for the refurbished cylinder will be:
Kootenay Canal Generating Station 5301 Blewett Road, South Slocan, BC V0G 2G0. Delivery date to meet planned outage.
