         The Transnational Research Programme was initiated by CEDR in 2008 and since then annual research Calls have been organised to fulfil the common interests of the National Road Administrations (NRA) members of CEDR.

         This Programme has the title “CEDR Call 2023: Intelligent Access”.

         The aim of this programme is to undertake research to investigate how Intelligent Access (further in document called IA) could help NRAs to optimize the use of infrastructure capacities and contribute to more environmentally sustainable road transport of freight. Full details of the Programme are contained in the Description of Research Needs entitled CEDR Call 2023 Intelligent Access DoRN. The content of this research programme is prepared under the umbrella of and using the processes of the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR). It is funded by Vayla (Finland), Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Rijkswaterstaat (Netherlands), Statens Vegvesen (Norway) and Trafikverket (Sweden).
