Subject: Letter of Acceptance

This is to notify you that your Bid dated 21 November 2023 for execution of the Component 1 - Intake, Raw Water Pumping Station and Raw Water Pipeline (reference: 46.113.620.00.000.099-2018/33) for the Accepted Contract Amount of:
- EUR 299,181,350.34 (in words EUR Two hundred ninety-nine million, one hundred eighty-one thousand, three hundred fifty and thirty-four cents) and BDT 7,857,097,538.22 (in words BDT Seven Hundred eighty-five crores, seventy lakhs, ninety-seven thousand five hundred thirty-eight taka and twenty-two paisa)
which includes:
- Provisional Sum for an amount of EUR 3,839,432.49 & BDT 4,232,253,462.00 and
- Contingencies for an amount of EUR 27,198,304.58 & BDT 714,281,594.38,
as corrected and modified in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, is hereby accepted by the Employer.

The corresponding Contract Price is:
- EUR 339,978,807.20 (in words EUR Three hundred thirty-nine million, nine hundred seventy-eight thousand, eight hundred seven and twenty cents) and BDT 8,345,319,929.81 (in words BDT Eight Hundred thirty-four crores, fifty-three lakhs, nineteen thousand nine hundred twenty-nine taka and eighty-one paisa),
which includes:
- Provisional Sums of EUR 3,839,432.49 & BDT 4,232,253,462.00,
- Contingencies for an amount of EUR 27,198,304.58 & BDT 714,281,594.38,
- VAT of BDT 2,763,543,865.06 and
- AIT of BDT 2,763,543,865.06.
The Accepted Contract Amount stated above is the aggregate of:
- The Lump Sum Price Component which consists of:
 Intake Facility
 Trenchless Crossings
- The Admeasurement Component which consists of:
 General & Preliminaries
 Daywork Schedule
 Raw Water Pipeline
 Operational Support

You are requested to furnish the modified Performance Security within 28 days in accordance with ITB 42, using for that purpose the Performance Security Form included in Section X, Contract Forms, of the Bidding Documents.

The modified Performance Security shall be formed of two parts with the following details:

 Part 1: To be provided as 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount and valid till issue of the Performance Certificate (as per PCC Part B clause 4.2)
 Part 2: To be provided as 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount, excluding the Provisional Sums and shall be valid for a period of one year to be extended as required till the date the Intake Facility is ready for Stage 1 Test on Completion.

The Contract agreement will follow soon.
