Subject: Letter of Acceptance

This is to notify you that your Bid dated 21 December 2023 for execution of the Saidabad Water Treatment Plant Phase III Project – Component 3.1 – Treated Water Primary Distribution Pipelines (reference: 46.113.620.00.00.099-2018/C-3.1/34) for the Accepted Contract Amount of:
- EUR 30,994,718.90 (in words EUR Thirty million, nine hundred ninety-four thousand, seven hundred eighteen and ninety cents) and BDT 4,893,956,883.20 (in words BDT Four hundred and eighty-nine crores, thirty-nine lakhs, fifty-six thousand eight hundred and eighty-three taka and twenty paisa)
which includes:
- Provisional Sum for an amount of EUR 153,673.20 & BDT 2,808,352,536.00 and
- Contingencies for an amount of EUR 2,817,701.72 & BDT 444,905,171.20,
as corrected and modified in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, is hereby accepted by our institution.

The corresponding Contract Price is:
- EUR 35,221,271.47 (in words EUR Thirty-five million, two hundred twenty-one thousand, two hundred seventy-one and forty-seven cents) and BDT 5,358,664,640.00 (in words BDT Five hundred and thirty-five crores, eighty-six lakhs, sixty-four thousand six hundred forty taka),
which includes:
- Provisional Sums of EUR 153,673.20 & BDT 2,808,352,536.00,
- Contingencies for an amount of EUR 2,817,701.72 & BDT 444,905,171.20,
- VAT of BDT 496,639,577.06 and
- AIT of BDT 496,639,577.06.

The Accepted Contract Amount stated above is the aggregate of:
- The Lump Sum Price Component which consists of:
 Trenchless Crossings
- The Admeasurement Component which consists of:
 General & Preliminaries
 Supply and installation of Water Pipelines

You are requested to furnish the modified Performance Security within 28 days in accordance with ITB 42, using for that purpose the Performance Security Form included in Section X, Contract Forms, of the Bidding Documents.

The modified Performance Security shall be formed of two parts with the following details:

 Part 1: To be provided as 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount and valid till issue of the Performance Certificate (as per PCC Part B clause 4.2)
 Part 2: To be provided as 5% of the Accepted Contract Amount, excluding the Provisional Sums and shall be valid until successful completion of the final trenchless drive to be delivered under the scope of Bill Part 9.

The Contract agreement will follow soon.
