Homes England has appointed an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) and Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) to provide, own and operate a new electrical network to provide power to the York Central Development.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Independent Connection Provider (ICP) and Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) must provide, own and operate a new electrical network to provide power to the York Central Development.

Scope of works (this is not an exhaustive list)

- Identifying the required demand of electrical network

- Design of the networks to facilitate future YC development

- Sizing of duct banks (no. of ducts) and chamber requirements to accommodate future on-plot electrical network requirements

- Production of a network design and delivery which is suitable for adoption by DNO/iDNO

- Offsite works to provide YC with sufficient electrical power to facilitate full build-out of the YC development

- On site primary infrastructure works, as necessary

- Onsite 11kV network and HV/LV substations

- LV feeds to YC customers.
