Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. There is no solicitation available at this time.
Again, this is not a request for quotes or proposals. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit. Responses must be submitted in writing no later than 4 September 2024 by 4:30pm EST. A determination by the Government to not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, Shipbuilding and Repair with a size standard of 1300 employees. The PSC is J019. The Government anticipates using a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the supply/service if contracted.
