The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to answer questions from industry. 1. It was mentioned that the contract could possibly be a shortened due to expansion at a new facility. Is that true? If so, how long will the term be. Is there a chance to revise the bid based on the size of the facility. a. Per the Performance Work Statement: ***A New facility is being commissioned with an anticipated open sometime between Fall FY25 or Fall FY26 at current projections. The new facility will have janitorial services included with the lease and will supersede this contract. There are many approvals and other considerations that must be performed prior to opening a new facility. Recent Clinic and other capital buildings have been delayed for a number of years, hence the rationale for soliciting this action as a B+4 arrangement. As there is uncertainty for the timetable for this new facility to be opened, the Government will provide guidance as the term of the contract proceeds. The Government will terminate the contract for convenience once the new facility is opened. No new bids/quotes will be considered for the new facility as the new facility will have janitorial services included with the lease of the building. 2. What is the inventory of equipment to be cleaned monthly. We were interested in the quantity of wheelchairs, stretchers and patient lifts, etc.? a. Quantities of wheelchairs, stretchers and patient lifts include: Wheelchairs-4 Stretchers- 0 Patient Lifts-2 3. Is the $181,761.83 an annual amount or is this total amount for the base + option years? a. The amount above is the Total contract amount for the Base +4 Option years and not an annual amount. 4. What is the Value of this Existing Contract? a. Please see question #3 above. 5. Can we rollover current Employees? a. The Government has no issue with rollover of current employees, it is up to the current employee, employer, and any potential laws/regulations. 6. Do Employees have a Break room and office space? a. Break room - yes.  Table and seating for 6.  2 fridge and 2 microwave. Office space - The contracted staff do not have access to an office space. 7. Do Facilities have supply Storage area? a. We have a small janitorial closet that contains all chemicals, hopper, wall chemical machine.  In adjacent room there are a few shelves for items such as paper towels, toilet paper, feminine products, etc. 8. What Wage Determination (Zanesville, OH). a. The facility is in Muskingum County, OH. The Wage Determination is 2015-4761, Revision Number 27, Date of latest revision 6/22/24, please refer to SAM.gov for details. The Wage determination is attached below. 9. May we kindly know the rate the previous contractor was charging your good office? a. Please see question #3 above. 10. Is the incumbent award value of $181,761.83 3. yearly or over a four year period? a. The above award amount was for the full B+4 period and not annual.
