The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (A2524), Patuxent River, MD 20670 announces its intention to re-calibrate 6DoF IMUs. The equipment is used to measure weapon separation characteristics and is also used to configure the six degrees of freedom inertial measurement system with telemetry. These units provide the test team with the data needed to quantify weapons separation characteristics and analyze the data in order to recommend fleet envelope. These units will test, perform, and develop the operational limits so that fleet aircrew can deploy weapons safely and effectively.
It is anticipated that the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract will be issued. A 1-year period of performance is expected upon award.
The Government requests that interested businesses submit to the Contracting Office at NAWCAD, Patuxent River, Maryland, a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) for the attached Draft SOW. The capabilities statement shall demonstrate the companys ability to provide all of the supplies and services in the attached Draft SOW. This document must address, at a minimum, the following:
