The U.S. Embassy requires the replacement of batteries for their Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) system located in the server room. The contractor must be certified to perform maintenance and repairs on Eaton UPS systems and will be responsible for replacing the batteries in 12 Eaton 12KVA BLADE UPS systems, including their extensions.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror/quoter who is a responsible contractor, in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. The Government intends to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary.

All companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 must register on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company’s legal name, street address, contact information, and the types of goods and services it offers. An NCAGE code is required to register in SAM. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved in obtaining the NCAGE code or registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in awarding the contract to the successful bidder.
