The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking eligible contractors to furnish External Clinical Peer Review Services for Quality Management aligned with the requirements in the attached draft performance work statement (PWS) and other applicable attachments included in this RFI. This RFI is for market research purposes and responses will be used to further develop the acquisition strategy for this requirement. Therefore, all responsible sources are highly encouraged to submit a capability statement in response to this RFI.
Capability statements should address the ability of your company to meet the requirements contained in the draft PWS and all other attachments in this RFI.
RFI Questions:
2. What CLIN structure do you believe is best for the execution of this requirement?
3. Would it impact your decision whether or not to participate if the task order solicitation allowed for multiple awards?
4. What types of reviews outlined in the draft PWS is your company/contractor team able to provide such as peer reviews/audits, management reviews, and medical advisory opinions? Please provide detail as to which reviews your company/contractor team is able to complete.
5. The VA onboarding process takes an average of 6 weeks. In addition to the VA’s onboarding process, how long do you estimate it will take your company/contractor team to fully onboard new staff to include administrative staff and clinical reviewers? Such actions to include orientation, training, credentialing, and other administrative start-up requirements.
6. How many administrative staff does your company/contractor currently employ? If you participated in this task order, do you anticipate requiring more administrative staff to meet the requirement? Would the need for more administrative staff impact your decision whether or not to participate?
