Hybrid (TEAMS and In-person participation) Industry Day for the USSPACECOM Command and Control Facility (C2F) Audio/Visual (AV) Support to be held:

December 14th & December 18th 2023

San Diego, CA (exact location TBD)

The following guidance is provided for those who want to attend the Industry Day Event(s):

1. Overview: Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to hold an Industry Day to familiarize potential offerors with the requirements for the Command and Control (C2) Facility (C2F) Audio/Visual (AV) Support acquisition. The Industry Day will be held on Thursday, December 14th and Monday, December 18th from 09:00-05:00 in San Diego, CA at a location to be determined based on the number of responses.

2. Purpose: The purpose of Industry Day is (1) to improve industry’s understanding of Government requirements and (2) to provide prospective offerors an opportunity for networking (e.g. for such purposes as subcontracting opportunities, etc.). In addition, it provides the Government with an opportunity to gauge industry’s interest level and how well potential offerors understand the requirement.

3. Draft SOW: For more information, please see the attached Draft SOW for the Command and Control (C2) Facility (C2F) Audio/Visual (AV) Support acquisition. Of importance, this work will be performed in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

4. Attendee Limitation: The MAXIMUM PERSONNEL ALLOWED FOR EACH COMPANY IS LIMITED TO 2 PEOPLE.

5. Industry Day Registration: If you plan on attending IN-PERSON, please email Tamara Simpson (tamara.r.simpson.civ@us.navy.mil) and Jessica Fizer (jessica.d.fizer.civ@us.navy.mil), no later than November 17th 2023. Include your company name, company CAGE code, and name of attendees (two maximum), phone number, and email address. Please indicate whether you are a large or small business under NAICS Code 541330, Engineering Services, Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons ($47M size standard). Also, please indicate if your company will participate in the one-on-one sessions with the contracting officer and technical code personnel (details below). Finally, indicate whether or not you will permit NIWC Pacific to distribute your company contact information.

Additional information will be determined once a venue is secured.

7. Agenda: Industry Day will include an acquisition introduction from NIWC Pacific contracts personnel and presentations from the cognizant NIWC Pacific Technical Code personnel. In addition, a one-on-one question and answer (Q&A) session will be held following the introduction and presentation. In person on-on-one sessions will be scheduled on December 14th and one-on-one sessions via TEAMS will be scheduled on December 18th.

8. Question and Answer Session: A one-on-one Q&A session will be held following the technical code presentation. Industry Day Questions related to the potential acquisition, to be answered during Industry Day, may be e-mailed no later than 30 November 2023 to the Contracts Specialist: Veronica Velarde (magda.v.velarde.civ@us.navy.mil). During Industry Day, NIWC Pacific contracts and technical personnel will answer questions submitted via e-mail to Veronica Velarde (by the aforementioned deadline). If time permits after the questions submitted via e-mail have been answered, the Government will entertain questions from Industry Day attendees not desiring to participate in the one-on-one sessions. Please note that all questions and answers (regardless of whether or not they were included in the Q&A Session) will be posted online via E Commerce Central estimated within 5 business days after Industry Day.
