This sources sought notice is for informational purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will be used to assist the Government in planning the acquisition strategy.

The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of contracts that can provide inspection and repair services for a 2005 18-ton Boom Truck Mobile Crane. The manufacturer is National and the model number is 600E.

The repairs needed are not fully known so a complete disassembly and inspection of the crane will be required to determine the full extent of repairs needed. The known deficiencies include:

1. The valve bank has a class III leak.
2. The telescopic cylinder packing has a class III leak.

Note: The Bureau of Reclamation plans to transport the Boom Truck to and from the contractors facility. The facility must be within a 250 miles from Yakima, WA

Firms that have the capability to provide the services described above are invited to respond to this sources sought notice. Submissions must include the following information:

1. Capabilities Statement.
2. Company name and point of contact information.
3. Unique Entity Identification (UEI) Number.
4. Past performance information: This should include recent (within the last 3 years) and relevant type services that are similar to the work described above.
5. Business size (Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.)

Responses are due no later than 5 PM ET, Tuesday October 24, 2023. Reponses shall be submitted via email at jwahl@usbr.gov.

All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Responses are strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associate with providing information in response to this sources sought notice.
