Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing (or legitimately obtaining) the following item: 1680-011001746, Cushion, Seat, Aircraft. The current approved manufacturing sources are:

BAE SYSTEMS LAND & ARMAMENTS L.P. 54786 P/N 101350-1
ARA INC 54184 P/N D5073-1

No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.

Since this is a source controlled item, DLA cannot approve sources for this item. If your company is interested in qualifying their product for purposes of future acquisitions you must contact the design control activity specified on the source control drawing. In this case, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Cage Code 81996. Responses to this sources sought notice must be received by October 23, 2023, 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
