The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/WFK Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation (AFSAC) Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is seeking capabilities packages of potential sources including Small Business (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of providing medical equipment in accordance with (IAW) Attachment 1 - Equipment List.

REQUIREMENTS:

The contractor shall acquire medical training support equipment for Department of Defense (DoD) delivery to the country of Zambia. The medical equipment list is comprised of several Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) parts to fit the end user’s needs and requirements.

The contractor shall acquire equipment in accordance with Attachment 1 – Equipment List. Equipment acquired shall be brand name only. The contactor shall be responsible for providing all supplies and equipment required to fulfill the contract.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 423450 - Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers, with a size standard of 200 employees. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent action. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. No set-aside decision has been made. Note that a key factor in determining an acquisition to be a Small Business Set Aside is that small business prime contractors must perform at least 50% of the effort, as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.219-14.

The Air Force anticipates that this prospective acquisition will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
