Additional Requirements:
This new requirement is to house a permanent training center that will provide training for the agency personnel. Parking can be met onsite by the lessor or by sub leasing parking within 2 blocks or 1/4 mile of the building in a safe well-lit area. (Executed parking contract must be provided to be coterminous with the full term of the lease; to include option period.) Public transportation to be provided within a half mile to 10 minutes walkable distance.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space should not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as “100-year” floodplain).
Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ).
