The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a full and open competitive solicitation for a Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) contract to procure the production, integration, and testing for up to 70 Towed Body 34A (TB-34A) array systems, at a rate of up to 14 systems per year. The solicitation will also contain CPFF contract type for Engineering Services, FFP for Provisioned Items Orders, and Cost Reimbursable for other direct costs. The resultant contract will include one (1) base year and four (4) option periods, from FY24 through FY28.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be released in November 2023.

A sources sought notice was issued related to this synopsis on SAM.gov on September 27, 2022 for TB-34A Production, Integration, Testing, N00024236100.

It is recommended that interested parties should get familiar with the solicitation application of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). If a solicitation is issued it will be done electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://sam.gov) and interested parties must comply with that announcement. SAM is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitations. Interested offerors should monitor SAM for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments.
