The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with Cyracom International for Language Interpretation Services. The period of performance is from 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2024 and four (4) option years thereafter if exercised. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541930-Tranlation and Interpretation Services with a Small Business Administration size standard of $8.00.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Cyracom International is the only source for the required services due to reasons of existing certification of various American Indian language interpretations.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated products may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 10:00AM (MDT) on 9/19/2023. Responses can be submitted via email to Stefanie.atene@ihs.gov.

A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
