The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit in Gallup, NM intends to negotiate a single source award with Cintas Corporation for First Aid Maintenance and Kit Refill services will also be procured. The period of performance is from 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2024 and one (1) option year thereafter. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 3391113-Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration size standard of 800 employees.

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Cintas Corporation is the only source for the required products due to compatibility reasons of existing first aid cabinets and contents.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated products may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 10:00AM (MDT) on 9/19/2023. Responses can be submitted via email to Stefanie.atene@ihs.gov.

A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
