This solicitation notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the districts imminent issue of an invitation for bid package for its construction project entitled " Menasha Right Abutment Wall Repair, Menasha, Wisconsin (USACE-CHICAGO DISTRICT PROJECT).”

PROJECT INFORMATION: The proposed project, consists of demolition of the existing stacked stone wall along the earthen embankment on the wall just north of the Menasha Dam, and construction of a new reinforced cast- in-place concrete wall will replace the stacked stone wall. The new construction will be about 175 feet constructed to match the approximate existing top of wall elevations.

ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is restricted to Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 with a small business size standard of $45M.

The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated at between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

The solicitation (invitation for bids [IFB]) will be downloadable from this INTERNET Site ONLY. The project specification files will be portable document format (PDF) files and to be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Bids are due prior to 2:00 p.m. (Central time) on August 31, 2023.

IMPORTANT POLICY: Bidders are REQUIRED to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) AT THE TIME BID IS SUBMITTED to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements.
