NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for

(12) iSTAR Ultra Rack Mount Control Panels and forty-eight (48) iSTAR Ultra ACM boards, as well as the required licenses, dual input rack mountable power supplies, enclosures, battery backups, and battery backup enclosures to configure and install .

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the twelve (12) iSTAR Ultra Rack Mount Contrrol Panels, and forty-eight (48) iSTAR Ultra ACM boards, as well as the required licenses, dual input rack mountable power supplies, enclosures, battery backups, and battery backup enclosures to configure, and install from Siemens Industry Inc. 1000 Deerfield PKWY Buffalow Grove, IL 60089.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Johnny Hisaw at johnny.m.hisaw@nasa.gov not later than 1:00pm Central time on September 8, 2023.

Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
