Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking to identify potential vendors capable of accomplishing the following tasks:
Conduct a proof-of-concept corrosion qualification test on an additively manufactured heat exchanger by accomplishing moderately heated flow loop design and setup to support a 3-month, intermittent flow test with separate hot (190℉) and cold (70℉) circuits that run in parallel through the provided heat exchanger.
Specification/PWS:
A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this sources sought to assist vendors and manufacturers in understanding the NSWCCD testing requirements mentioned above.
A solicitation date is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Contract Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/home at a later date. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from this announcement. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Responses to this sources sought will be used by NSWCCD to influence acquisition decisions which may include: use of sole source or competitive bid procurement process; small business set-aside (small business, large business, or small disadvantaged business), and which acquisition procedures are best suited for this procurement.
